Theater Classes and Workshops for Kids in Central Ohio: A Guide

Are you looking for theater classes or workshops for your children in Central Ohio? DKI has you covered! We offer theater classes, workshops, summer camps, and private classes for children and teenagers. Financial assistance is available to make sure your kids can take part in these amazing activities. Our preschool workshops take kids on exciting school trips to explore and use their imaginations to act out stories. Participating in theater at an early age helps build confidence and speaking skills.

Our program is a great way to introduce your child to the world of acting and help them develop a lifelong love of the creative arts. Our classes cover a variety of topics, such as musical arts, dance, and the performing arts. We also offer performing arts summer camps for young people in grades 3-12 from Central Ohio. This local children's theater company produces new and classic plays, as well as educational programs.

In addition to theater classes, there are other activities available for kids in Central Ohio. A summer camp introduces children to architecture and design through hands-on activities, excursions, walking tours, presentations by professionals, and imaginative games. The Columbus International Children's Choir offers art classes, music theory classes, and singing classes for children ages 4-18 from Central Ohio communities. Art classes are also available on Saturday mornings for kids in grades 1-12, as well as a pre-university art program. At DKI, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to explore their creativity through theater.

We offer a variety of classes and workshops that are designed to help your child develop their skills and confidence in the performing arts. With our financial assistance program, we make sure that no child is left behind when it comes to experiencing the joys of theater.
